Come to FormenteraFormentera is a real island, as it does not have an airport and is only accessible by ferry. The island of Formentera is the smallest of the Balearic Islands, which are located in the centre of the western Mediterranean, east of Spain. Formentera and Ibiza are the Pitiusas Islands. Ibiza and Formentera are separated by a small channel, "Es Freus", dotted by smaller islets. There are regular ferries to Ibiza and the Peninsula. One can take a ferry or fly to Ibiza and, once there, take a boat trip to Formentera. Ibiza Airport has international flights, by various companies, connecting the island to all major European cities. If you get to Ibiza on a plane, you will have to take either a bus (just over one euro) or a taxi from the airport to the harbour. All that remains is a pleasant, 30-minute journey on a ferry that will cost you nearly 20 euros to our beloved island.
